Watch Barong Dance at Batubulan
Batubulan can be visited both in the morning and in the evening.
Everyday the tourists can enjoy the Barong dance performance which
is usually held from 9am to 10.30am and 6pm to 7pm. The Barong dance
itself is performed at five different stages, illustrating the balance
of goodness and badness side in everyday’s bustle and hustle
life. The dance is sometimes performed like musical comedy involving
humor aspects in it. The overall performance is entertaining and

Goa Gajah (Elephant
Cave)
Situated in calm village called Bedulu, Goa Gajah or the Elephant
Cave is about 26 kilometers from Denpasar city. The entire place
is soothing, surrounded by the beautiful terrace rice fields and
Petanu river valley panorama. As one of the enchanting historical
sites, Goa Gajah attracts more visitor both local and international
coming for sightseeing, worship, or contemplate. Goa Gajah was derived
from ‘Lwa Gajah’ meaning elephant waters and it was
the authentic name of Petanu River. Here, we can find the very old

Kintamani

Kintamani is a serene district with 5 volcanoes situated on a hill
1,460 meters above sea level; three of them are Mount Agung, Mount

still active. In addition, there is a wide Lake of Batur in a valley
making the entire sight truly contentment. With the plateau area
that surrounds the area, it’s needless to say that in Kintamani

Museum
Gunung Batur
The Museum Gunung Batur was built on May 2007, as part of Bangli’s
regency 803rd anniversary. Located within short drive from Mountain
Batur in Bangli, the site is considered as the first Volcano museum
in Bali. The purpose of developing the Museum Gunung Batur is to
give the useful information for the public about the dangers of
volcanoes as well as the benefits for our nature, since the number
of active volcanoes in Indonesia is reaching 80 sites; therefore
volcanoes are inseparable from our eco-system. In the museum, some
computer animations are also accessible for children to convey further
all the information about volcanoes visually.
Penglipuran
Traditional Village
The name of Penglipuran is derived from ‘penglipur’
meaning entertainer. Historically speaking, in the old times the
kings often visited this village to indulge themselves in the beautiful
landscapes and the most scenic landscape. It was believed that after
visiting this village the mood would go brighter and amused than
before. The place is cool as the village rests on the height land
about 700 m above sea level. In the village, the houses of local

temple building directed to the Mountain Agung. Overall, here the
visitors will be displayed a truly one-of-a-kind Balinese culture

Pura
Kehen (Kehen Temple)
In the sacred Kehen Temple you will be exhibited three copper inscriptions
mentioning some earliest Buddhist priest names which was written
in Sanskrit. The site also hosts the sculpture of Bhatara Da Tonta.
This ancient site can be found on the Southern foot of Bangli Hill,
only 1.5 kilometer from the Bangli city center. The moment we get
there, we would be required to climb the stairs of the entrance.
In the area, the complete public facilities are available from parking
lot, souvenir shops, to food and beverage booths. Kehen Temple is
one of the three temples as the proof of Bali’s kingdom and
also understood as the mountain temple of Bangli’s kingdom.
Taman
Bali Raja
Renowned as Taman Bali Kingdom, this mesmerizing garden is sited
at Taman Bali village in Bangli district, about 35 kilometers from
Denpasar city. Covering about 50 acres of rice field, this garden
was used to be the leisure spot by the king of Taman Bali. At Taman
Bali Village we will find a garden which is popular as the ancient
remains of Taman Bali Kingdom. Everyday, we can also find some local
people fish on the big pond. Taman Bali Kingdom has close relationship
with Tirta Harum which is located at the same village. There is
a swimming pool and the place to worship that can be used by all
visitors.
